In January-December 2018, the number of newly created enterprises and organizations in the country reached 55.0 thousand, which is 14.0 thousand more than in the same period of January-December 2017.

According to the State Statistics Committee of Uzbekistan, as of January 1, 2019, the number of operating enterprises with foreign capital amounted to 7560 units compared with the same period last year. It increased by 2043 units or 37.0%. Most of them belong to the subject of the Russian Federation, the Republic of Turkey, the People’s Republic of China, the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Republic of Korea.
