A business seminar was held on the topic: "Innovative technologies in the field of energy saving and energy efficiency"

On May 24, the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Republic of Uzbekistan held a business seminar on the topic: "Innovative technologies in the field of energy saving and energy efficiency".

The event was attended by leading companies involved in innovative technologies of Ukraine, the Russian Federation, Latvia, Germany, Turkey and Uzbekistan.

At the business seminar the projects of the newest innovative technologies in the energy, oil and gas and communal spheres were presented.

Priority directions of further reduction of energy intensity were discussed, introduction of energy-saving technologies in the sectors of the economy and social sphere were determined:

- reduction of energy intensity of products;

- accelerated development of renewable energy sources;

- expansion of production of modern types of energy-saving equipment, devices and materials;

- ensuring energy efficiency in the construction of new and reconstruction of existing buildings, etc.

Speakers stressed that the country launched a large-scale work on the efficient and economical use of energy resources.

Today, great importance is attached to the exchange of experience and the conduct of research work in the field of power generation, transmission and consumption, taking into account the use of renewable energy.

At all levels, work is under way to study the legislative, technological and innovative experience of foreign countries with the involvement of experts and practitioners in the field of energy efficiency and energy conservation, as well as renewable energy sources.

At the seminar it was noted that the holding of this business seminar will certainly contribute to the process of introducing energy-saving technologies in various sectors of the economy of our country.

At the initiative of the country's leadership, new structures were restructured and created in the country, designed to radically improve the system of applying innovative energy-saving technologies.
