The Protocol of Intent was signed between the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Association for the Promotion of Small and Medium Business Development                                          

On June 7, in the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Republic of Uzbekistan, a meeting was held with the Chairman of the Association for the Promotion of Small and Medium Business Development of the Republic of Korea, Mr. Kim Yong Gu.

The parties discussed a number of measures aimed at improving trade and economic relations between Uzbekistan and the Republic of Korea.

Stressing that warm and friendly relations are successfully continuing between the countries, A.Ikramov noted that in recent years Uzbekistan and Korea have made significant progress in strengthening the fundamental foundations of cooperation, maintaining a high level, open and trusting political dialogue.

During the meeting, the parties reached an agreement on signing a Memorandum of Cooperation and strengthening cooperation between businessmen of the two countries.

The first step in the development of cooperation was the signing of a Protocol of Intentions between the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Association for the Promotion of Small and Medium Business of the Republic of Korea, which is aimed at implementing the agreements reached within the framework of the meeting.

This document consolidates the parties' plans for holding business forums in Uzbekistan and Korea.
