On August 29, 2020, at the Tashkent State University of Economics, entrance exams to the Tashkent branch of the University of Economics and Technology of Turkey were held.
For information: in the new academic year, the Tashkent branch of the University of Economics and Technology of Turkey will accept a total of 100 students in 2 two directions (e-commerce and technology management - 50 students, international business and entrepreneurship - 50 students). More than 500 students handed over documents to this University.
It should be noted that during the official visit of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev to Turkey, on February 19, Ankara hosted the first meeting of the Uzbek-Turkish Council for Strategic Cooperation of the highest level, as a result of which the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Republic of Uzbekistan with the Union of Chambers of Commerce and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey signed Memorandum on the opening in Tashkent of a branch of the University of Economics and Technology of Turkey at the Union of Chambers of Commerce and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey.
On June 17, 2020, the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers No. 389 on the opening of a branch of the Turkish University of Economics and Technology TOBB ETU in Tashkent was adopted.
For information: the University began its activitity in 2004 and today is considered one of the strongest in teaching staff, it is training personnel in the field of entrepreneurship. TOBB ETU is also established as a university that educates entrepreneurs with individuality and international business experience.
The branch of the university is located in the capital and will train specialists in the field of business and entrepreneurship based on the dual education system. The training will last for three terms. Students will have a unique opportunity to undergo internships in different countries, during their studies to get acquainted with the activities of the world’s leading companies, as well as famous entrepreneurs in Turkey.
