Delegation of the CCI on a working visit to the Republic of Turkey

On April 19 this year, headed by the Chairman of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Uzbekistan D. Vahabov, a visit of the delegation of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry to Ankara (Republic of Turkey) was organized.

During the visit, a round table was organized with the participation of representatives of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Uzbekistan, as well as representatives of Turkish business circles.

During his speech, the Chairman of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry noted measures to support entrepreneurship and create a favorable climate for investors. The achievements in reforming the sphere of tax regulation, increasing the transparency of the economy, improving the procedures for allocating land plots, mechanisms for the legal protection of foreign investors and other areas are listed.

The success achieved by Turkish industrialists and entrepreneurs in developing business ties with Uzbek partners in light industry, construction, services, agriculture, production of building materials, electrical engineering and other sectors of the economy of Uzbekistan was especially emphasized.

Also, during the negotiations between the delegations of the two countries, a high assessment was given to the Uzbek-Turkish trade, economic and investment cooperation. The parties noted with satisfaction the growth in the volume of mutual trade, the successfully implemented large investment projects to create a modern industry and modernize infrastructure.
