The Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Uzbekistan (CCI) opened the CCI Representative Office in Hungary

In accordance with paragraph 25 of the Order of the Administration of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan No. AF-81 of December 23, 2022 “On measures to accelerate the implementation of agreements and further expand mutually beneficial cooperation between the Republic of Uzbekistan and Hungary”, the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Uzbekistan (CCI) opened the CCI Representative Office in Hungary with the subsequent creation of a logistics center to organize the export of Uzbek products to the Hungarian market and other European countries.

On September 5, 2023, an agreement was signed between the CCI Representative Office in Hungary and the Italian logistics company SAMER INTERNATIONAL LLC on the implementation of the logistics corridor project between European countries and Uzbekistan.

For reference: “SAMER INTERNATIONAL LLC” has been in the transportation business for over a hundred years and offers a comprehensive range of services: ship agents and brokers, international freight forwarders, port terminal operators, insurance agents, and claims adjusters. The head office of SAMER INTERNATIONAL LLC is headquartered in Italy and has subsidiaries in Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Hungary, Montenegro, Serbia, Slovakia, and Slovenia.

The CCI Representative Office in Hungary will contribute to the development of trade relations between Uzbekistan and the European Union. The main tasks of the Representative office are to assist Uzbek companies in finding new partners, promoting Uzbek products on local and foreign markets, and organizing logistics routes. It will also act as a link between Uzbek and European investors, allowing them to organize business meetings, project presentations, and provide information on investment opportunities in Uzbekistan.
