The Chamber of Commerce and Industry held a meeting with the delegation of textile enterprises of the Republic of Tajikistan

The Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Uzbekistan jointly with the Association "Uzbektekstilprom" organized a visit of representatives of the business circles of the textile industry of Tajikistan to Uzbekistan during the period August 6-11, 2018.

August 10 in the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Uzbekistan held a meeting with a delegation of textile enterprises of the Republic of Tajikistan.

The main goal of the meeting was to establish business cooperation between textile producers, to develop cooperation ties in textile production between the two countries, as well as to study the experience of organizing textile production in Uzbekistan and exchange practical knowledge and skills in the production of ready-made textile products.

At the meeting, the sides noted that expanding cooperation in the textile industry plays an important role in the further development of trade, economic and investment relations between Uzbekistan and Tajikistan. In this regard, opinions were expressed on the importance of further expanding the production of finished textile products and the supply of high-quality textile products to the world market by Central Asian producers, the organization of joint projects in the textile industry, the creation of production cooperation for the export of ready-made textile products between textile enterprises of Uzbekistan and Tajikistan.

During the event, the sides discussed issues of cooperation between Uzbekistan and Tajikistan in the textile industry, the implementation of joint projects, the supply of textile products and semi-finished products to Tajikistan.
