Tashkent hosts Uzbekistan – Sweden business forum.

On February 13, Tashkent hosted Uzbekistan – Sweden business forum.

The event, organized in cooperation with the Ministry of Investments and Foreign Trade of the Republic of Uzbekistan and Business Sweden Trade and Invest Council, was attended by representatives of ministries, agencies and companies of both countries responsible for economy, geology and mineral resources, information technologies, mechanical engineering, energy.

Deputy Minister of Investments and Foreign Trade of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shukhrat Vafoyev, Director of Business Sweden Trade and Invest Council for Eurasia Andreas Giallourakis noted the expansion of cooperation opportunities between Uzbekistan and Sweden.

The sides exchanged views on prospects for trade and economic cooperation between Uzbekistan and Sweden. Information was provided on possibilities of Uzbekistan in geology and mineral resources, energy, transport infrastructure, trade, industry and education. Presentations of ADB Safegate, Scania, Ericsson, Alfa Laval Potok, Sandvik, EF Education First companies were held.

Business people of both countries held G2B and B2B meetings.
