Meeting of the Chairman of the CCI with the Chairman of the Uzbek-Turkish Business Council

On April 15, 2022, at the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Republic of Uzbekistan, a meeting was held between the Chairman of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry D. Vakhabov and the Chairman of the Uzbek-Turkish Business Council O. Ozguven, as well as members of the DC, such as the Chairman of Akay İnşaat JSC E. Olgun, General Manager in Uzbekistan Ziraat Bank Uzbekistan JSC Z. Zhanpolat, International Trade Manager of JSC Genç Değirmen Makinaları San. ve Tic." E. Bulut and Director of Me-Ka Dış Tic. Ltd. The Chairman of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Uzbekistan paid special attention to the fact that the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Uzbekistan closely cooperates with the Council for Foreign Economic Relations of Turkey (DEIK), the Union of Chambers of Commerce and Industry and Commodity Exchanges (TOBB), the Association of Independent Industrialists and Entrepreneurs.

Speaking, the Chairman of the Uzbek-Turkish Business Council O. Ozguven focused on the partnership between Uzbekistan and Turkey, centuries-old fraternal ties between peoples and growing cooperation in various fields.

The parties discussed issues of establishing cooperation in the field of road construction, as well as attracting investments in agriculture, medicine, as well as the chemical and textile industries.

The exchange of experience in various fields will provide an opportunity to improve cooperation between the two countries, as well as increase trade between the countries.

Following the meeting, the parties agreed to organize meetings between the business circles of Uzbekistan and Turkey in order to develop and expand bilateral trade, economic and investment cooperation this year.
