nternational Handicrafters Festival

September 10-15, the first International Craft Festival will be held in Kokand. The event is organized in accordance with the decree of the head of our state “On the International Crafts Festival” of November 1, 2018. According to the program, the official opening and closing ceremonies of the festival will be held on Urda Square with the demonstration of local and foreign crafts, as well as concerts, souvenirs and festivities, puppet shows, burials and folklore collections. The international festival will be held in Kokand every two years by the Ministry of Culture, the State Committee for Tourism Development, the Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the Hunarmanda Association, the Academy of Arts of Uzbekistan and the Administration of the Ferghana Region.
