A meeting was held with a Hungarian company

On April 13, 2022, in the form of an online videoconference, a meeting was held between the responsible officer of the Embassy of Uzbekistan in Austria M. Rikhsiboev, the responsible officer of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Uzbekistan G. Usmanov with the Chairman of the Hungarian company Urban Confectionery Ltd. P. Neumann and the head of the company “Global Faktor Zrt.” I.Chabaylar.

During the meeting, P. Neumann noted that Hungary began working with Uzbek businessmen on trade and economic cooperation on the import of food, agricultural and industrial goods from our country to Hungary, and also made proposals on new areas of cooperation.

In particular, the parties discussed the visit of the Hungarian business delegation to Uzbekistan and the visit of representatives of the Uzbek business community to Hungary, as well as business negotiations and the organization of a small exhibition.

In turn, in order to expand and ensure the continuation of this cooperation, the Chamber of Commerce and Industry, with the support of “Urban Confectionery Ltd.” proposed to establish cooperation with leading Hungarian pharmaceutical, construction, electrical, leather and shoe companies, to jointly implement investment projects in pharmaceutical production in our country was found.

During the event, in order to expand the export of textile products to Hungary and the European Union, it was proposed to organize an online video conference with the Hungarian company “Global Faktor Zrt.” and the Textile Industry Association.

At the end of the meeting, the parties agreed to organize a visit of Hungarian business circles to Uzbekistan and an Uzbek business delegation to Hungary, as well as to establish contacts between Hungarian companies and entrepreneurs interested in cooperation in the pharmaceutical, construction, electrical and leather industries.
